How CUSAT CAT 2026 scores are calculated?
While calculating the scores of CUSAT CAT 2026, the authorities will be using the following formula:
S = 3R - 1W
In the above-given formula, S denotes the CUSAT CAT score, R denotes the number of right answers and W denotes the number of wrong answers. The formula is based on the marking scheme of CUSAT CAT 2026. According to the marking scheme, 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
How is CUSAT CAT 2026 rank prepared?
Along with the declaration of the CUSAT CAT 2026 results, the authorities release the ranks secured by the candidates. The rank list of CUSAT CAT 2026 will be based on the percentile index. To obtain a rank, students have to secure a minimum of 10 marks separately for Mathematics and 10 marks for Physics & Chemistry combined in the CAT exam.
