If you think that you have a decent preparation for JEE Advanced, then in all practicality you should wait for the results, as of you feel that you have prepared decently for JEE Advanced, then your JEE Main result will also be good and it would be good to take admission in any NIT (in the worst case), rather than taking admission in KIIT.
So, I would suggest you to wait for JEE Advanced results. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Hello,
If you are seeking admission to B.Tech in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore then you need to apply for VITEEE. VIT does not accept JEE Main or JEE Advanced score. They conduct their own entrance examination called Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE).
To apply for VITEEE candidates must have scored minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the 10+2 or its equivalent. Candidates belonging to the following categories must score minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in 10+2
Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry are eligible for the following courses provided they have to register for a bridge course in Mathematics
The appplication for VITEEE 2022 is already closed. To check the details click on the link given below
https://viteee.vit.ac.in/
See admission to NITs/IIITs is conducted only on the basis of JEE-Main score for engineering courses and in IITs only JEE-Advance score is considered so your class 12th marks has no role in the seat allotment process but while verifying your eligibility for admission class 12th marks are considered and for this year you must have passed class 12th only to be eligible, so you are eligible for admission since the 75% criteria has been waived off for this year.
But if you are asking for next year then it is quite difficult to say anything about next year but your class 12th score is only considered to determine your eligibility for admission.
