          Thank you

          Hope it helps you.

          Dear Aspirant,

It is quite hard to predict the exact admission situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, the preparation level of the students, the difficulty level of the exam and the preferences of the students.

VIT does not release any official cutoffs and hence it is even more hard to give you the exact prediction.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that it is quite difficult to get into VIT with this rank. Especially CSE is even more hard.

You have a good chance of getting VIT Bhopal or VIT Amaravati core branches like Civil, Mechanical Biotechnology in category 4 or 5 with a high fee structure.

For VIT Vellore, you'll need a rank of around 40 K and for Chennai around 50 K.

So, please do keep other options open.

Please check the link below for more details.

          VITEEE Cut off

          Greetings !

Yes, you can write VITEEE in 2023, if you are joining college this year. This is something called "partial drop", and it is allowed for each and every student.

Though you must note that you will still be given admission in first year only. Any request of getting directly into second year will not be entertained by VIT. At the same time if you qualify for exam and seek admission in first year, you won't face any difficulty, it is allowed, you just might need to submit few more documents nothing much.

          ~Sach Thadani

          hlwo aspirant

          hope you are doing well

Vellore Institute of Technology has four campuses in India. At Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravati

well with rank of 149000 in vitee you would not get a seat for any branch at Vellore and Chennai campuses.

Candidates with rank 1,25,001 to 1,50,000 in VITEEE are eligible for admission in VIT Bhopal only.

To get admission in VIT vellore to need rank less than 20k. But it is vary every year. To get admission in CSE branch you need rank between 5000-6000 or marks 100 to be on safer side. VIT vellore is one of the top private engineering institute in India and have very good placements and ranking.

Rank upto 9000 will land you with CSE in VIT,Vellore and upto 12,000 in VIT Chennai in first category. Otherwise you can pay more and get in 2nd category. You should get a score approximately 90 marks to definitely get CSE branch at VIT Vellore.

so this year you'll not get any campus in vit.

well best of luck for next time.

and all the best for your upcoming future

          Hello Aspirant,

On such SC rank you have no chances to get any of the NITs or IIITs or GFTIs because last year the closing SC rank was around 13-14k in last round of JOSAA counselling. You can get an idea from previous year's closing ranks available on the official website :-

          https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

But you can go for some other colleges that are discussed below.

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

Jamia Institute Of Engineering And Management Studies, Jalgaon

          Siddhant College of Engineering, Pune

Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, Delhi

Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, Mumbai

          And some more.......

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2022 result :-

          https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so now you can check whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2022 or not, JEE-Main 2022 qualifying cut-offs are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) -  88.4121383 percentile
