IIT Madras BS Degree in Data Science and Applications and BS Degree in Electronic systems are open to all candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent irrespective of age or academic background. The Qualifier Phase Week 1 will start from February 6, 2026 and the Qualifier Exam 1-1 will be conducted on March 15, 2026.

IIT Madras BS Degree admissions are done through regular entry and JEE based entry to the Foundation level. Admissions through the regular entry require applicants to go through the Qualifier Process to join the Foundation Level.
