    CCMT Registration 2026 - The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala has closed the CCMT 2026 application form registration process on June 5, 2026. The authority has activated the CCMT 2026 application on the official website, cmt.admissions.nic.in. Before filling out the application form, candidates were asked to check the CCMT 2026 eligibility criteria. The CCMT 2026 application form was commenced on May 15, 2026.     Candidates should have a valid GATE score in 2024/2025/2026

    Qualifying Degree

    Those who have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% *6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in the case of SC/ST/PwD candidates, are eligible to apply.

    If the result of the qualifying degree is still awaited, provisional admission is permitted subject to meeting the above minimum qualifying degree requirements

    For each programme, eligibility is separately defined based on the GATE paper

    Additional certifications/ qualifications

    Candidates possessing certificates/ qualifications from professional societies such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and have enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition may also be eligible to participate in some of the PG programs through CCMT

    Applicants will have to complete the CCMT 2026 registration process on the official website. The following steps show how to fill out the application form for CCMT 2026.

    Step 1: CCMT Registration - Candidates had to visit the official website at ccmt.nic.in. The first step is the CCMT 2026 registration process by providing the following information:

    Step 2: Online Application Form - After the completion of the CCMT 2026 application process, candidates have to enter the necessary details, including personal, educational, and bank.

    Step 3: Uploading GATE scorecard - Candidates have to upload a scanned copy of their GATE scorecard 2026 by the specifications provided. The document file size should be between 50 KB to 200 KB and in JPG/JPEG/BMP/GIF/PNG format.

    Step 4: Application Submission - After completing all the steps mentioned above, candidates need to check the correctness of the information entered. After that, they have to proceed with the final submission of the CCMT 2026 application form. After successful submission, a unique CCMT registration ID will be generated.

    Step 5: Application Fee Payment - Followed by submission of the requisite information, candidates have to pay the required application fee as fixed by the exam authorities. Payment has to be done through net banking, credit card/ debit card or e-challan at any SBI branch.

    Step 6: Choice Filling and Locking - Once the CCMT registration 2026 is done, candidates have to choose the preferred college and course for admission through GATE. Based on the choices filled, seats will be allotted to them through CCMT 2026 counselling. Candidates will be allowed to modify the options filled, delete, change, and reorder the choices. No changes will be allowed after the choice-locking process is over.
