GATE Materials Science Syllabus 2026 - IIT Guwahati has uploaded the GATE 2026 Materials Science (XE-C) syllabus on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 syllabus for Material Sciences consists of six units. These include Classification and Structure of Materials; Thermodynamics, Kinetics and Phase Transformations; Properties and Applications of Materials; Characterisation and Measurements of Properties; Processing of Materials & Degradation of Materials. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026. Candidates attempting the GATE exam must thoroughly go through the detailed XE-C syllabus given below.
