Candidates willing to get admission in B.Tech courses must be 16 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. However, for B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology the minimum age limit is 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. The upper age limit for these programs is 22 years.
Candidates who have resided or studied in an educational institute of Telangana for at least four consecutive years up to their qualifying exam will be considered local candidates.
TS EAPCET eligibility criteria states that candidates must clear the Telangana EAMCET exam to be considered or included in the rank list. No minimum marks have been set for reserved category candidates.
As per the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of class 12 or its equivalent. Also, candidates should have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology in their 10+2 examination.
