SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates preparing for the upcoming SRMJEEE exam should refer to the SRM eligibility criteria 2026 for B.Tech. The SRM entrance exam 2026 eligibility conditions consist of age limit, nationality, qualifying marks, and academic required are more. Therefore, it is advised that the aspirants meet the SRMJEEE eligibility for B.Tech before proceeding with filling out the SRM application form 2026.

SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria - General

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens, NRIs, PIOs, or OCI cardholders. International students can also apply under a separate category.

Age Criteria: Candidates should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months by July 31 of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

Qualifying Examination: Applicant should have passed/appearing 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate of 3 subjects-Physics, Mathematics and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and Zoology as major subjects in regular stream from any board within India, CBSE, ISCE, IB or NIOS*

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2026 For B.Tech - Academic Qualification

Academics

Eligibility Required

For all B.Tech Programmes (except Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering)

Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60%. Also, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should have been studied as main subjects.

However, the minimum percentage mark in the qualifying examination for SRM Sonepat and Delhi NCR is 50%.

B.Tech Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Genetic Engineering

Should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Also, should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology/Botany & Zoology/Biotechnology as main subjects in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.

However, the minimum percentage mark in the qualifying examination for SRM Sonepat and Delhi NCR is 50%.

Others

Candidates who have studied the 12th standard from NIOS will be eligible to apply. However, if they have also done their 10th standard from NIOS, then they will not be eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2026.

Candidates who have passed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as main subjects from any international school will also be eligible.

SRMJEEE Application Form 2026

SRMIST will conduct the SRMJEE 2026 registrations in various phases on the official website. All the eligible candidates will be able to fill out the SRM 2026 application form on the official website, srmist.edu.
