The JoSAA registration and choice filling is the first step towards admission to the premier engineering colleges in India. Candidates had to provide their details and fill in their college preferences during the JoSAA counselling registration. JoSAA Registration and Choice Filling 2025 Procedure

• For registration and filling in of the choices of academic programs in various Institutes, candidates should log in to the josaa.nic.in using one of the following credentials:

• (i) For candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025: Login with JEE (Main) 2025 Application Number and password.

• (ii) For foreign nationals and OCI/PIO cardholders who have not registered/appeared in JEE (Main) 2025: Login with JEE (Advanced) 2025 Direct Registration login id and password.

• After logging in, the candidate must proceed to further steps such as registration, choice filling, choice locking etc.

• The detailed instructions for completion of the above steps will be provided on the JoSAA 2025 portal.

• Filling in of choices on the online portal is free of cost, i.e. candidates are not required to pay any fee for JoSAA registration and choice filling.

• A candidate may be eligible for seat allocation based on one, two, three or all four examinations, viz., JEE (Advanced) 2025, JEE (Main) 2025 B.E. / B. Tech. Paper, JEE (Main) 2025 B.Arch. Paper, and JEE (Main) 2025 B.Plan. Paper.

• Even for candidates who are eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation based on any two, any three or all four of the above examinations, only one seat from among the choices filled in is made available.

• Hence, it is important for candidates to carefully prioritise the academic programs while filling in the choices, while bearing in mind that only the choices filled in will be made available for seat allocation.
