Guidelines for 1st Attempt MET Slot Booking

• MET slot booking will be done on a first come first basis subject to the availability of seats at designated test centres.

• A slot once booked cannot be changed. The authorities will not entertain any requests for a change of test centre/date/slot.

• It is the responsibility of the candidate to book their test schedule before the Manipal slot booking last date.

Guidelines for 2nd Attempt MET Slot Booking

• Candidates dissatisfied with their performance in the first MET attempt may opt for a second attempt, subject to seat availability. Eligibility for the second attempt requires completing the first attempt as per the given schedule.
• Candidates applying on or before the deadline for the first attempt can take the second attempt by paying an additional fee of Rs. 1400 through OTBS, without reapplying at apply.manipal.edu.
• Candidates attempting the test for the first time in Phase 2 are not eligible for a second attempt in Phase 2. The test centre city for the second attempt will remain the same as the first attempt. If the chosen city’s test centre is unavailable, the university will assign a nearby city.
• Slot bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seat availability. Once a slot is booked, it cannot be changed, and no requests for changes to the test centre, date, or time will be entertained. Candidates are advised to schedule their slots carefully, avoiding conflicts with other entrance tests.
