    Nationality

    • Resident/non-resident Indian nationals/PIO/OCL are eligible to apply.

    • Foreign candidates: They can apply directly through the foreign category only.

    Age

    Candidates born or/after July 1, 2004, will be eligible to apply for the exam

    The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which they will be disqualified.

    Qualifying exam

    Candidates appearing for VITEEE 2026 should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology, achieving a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

    Candidates applying for undergraduate engineering admission should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories:

    • Candidates belonging to SC/ST

    • Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. A CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

    Marks needed in the qualifying exam

    • Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam.

    • However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states is 50%.

    NRI and foreign candidates have to fulfil the following VITEEE eligibility criteria 2026.

    • Students must have English as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.

    • They should have completed 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.

    • Candidates should have a minimum average of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Biology or Biotechnology (PCB) in 10+2 or equivalent exams.

    VITEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Foreign Candidates

    • Students must have studied in an English-medium school.

    • They must have Mathematics and Physics mandatorily as two subjects at A level/Form VI/ Senior VI or its equivalent. The third subject can be either Chemistry / Computer Sciences / Electronics / Biotechnology / Biology.

    • Candidates should have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in these subjects in 10+2 or equivalent.

    VITEEE Eligibility Criteria for Admissions

    Candidates who qualify VIT entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the VITEEE counselling. The counselling and seat allotment of VITEEE will be based on the candidate's merit in the exam, availability of seats, and choices locked by them.
