About IISER Aptitude Test

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research conducts the IISER aptitude test, as a computer-based test (CBT) for admission to B.E/B.tech courses. Only IAT 2025 scores will be considered for admissions to IISERs.
Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000. SC/ST/PwD applicants get five years of age relaxation. That is, they must have been born on or after October 1, 1995.
Applicants who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination in the science stream, with a minimum of 60% marks (general candidates), are eligible to apply for IAT 2025. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PwD) categories, the minimum score requirement is 55% to apply for IAT 2025.
Applicants with Indian citizenship, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for the IISER IAT 2025.
