Who is Eligible for the 5% SNQ Quota in KCET 2025

The authority allows candidates belonging to all caste categories for this SNQ quota reservation. Along with General Candidates, SC, ST, and OBC students are also eligible for this 5% of reservation under the SNQ quota. All the Engineering Colleges in Karnataka will have 5% reserved seats for this SNQ quota. Students who want to avail of this SNQ quota must have a family annual income under 8 lakhs. Candidates need to submit their income certificate issued by the government to prove their eligibility.

Separate Seat Allotment for SNQ Quota in KCET 2025

The authority will conduct separate seat allotment for the SNQ quota apart from the regular KCET 2025 seat allotment. The SNQ Quota Seat Allotment will be based on the KCET 2025 Rank and Income Level. Candidates who are allotted seats under the SNQ quota do not need to pay the tuition fee. If candidates gets a seat in both the regular allotment and SNQ quota allotment, then they will be allotted a seat first under SNQ quota.
