JCECE Eligibility Criteria 2026: Age Limit

• For admission to B.Tech and B.Sc. programs in Agriculture, Dairy Technology, Forestry & Horticulture, as well as B.F.Sc., applicants must meet the age requirement of being between 17 and 22 years old as of July 1st in the year of admission. There is a relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

• For the Animal Husbandry program (B.V.Sc & A.H.), applicants should fall within the age range of 17 to 25 years old as of December 31st in the year of admission. Similar to the other programs, SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible for a relaxation of up to 5 years.

JCECE 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Domicile

Applicants seeking admission are mandated to fulfil the domicile requirement set forth by the Raj Bhasa, Government of Jharkhand, necessitating them to be permanent or local residents of Jharkhand. To demonstrate their eligibility, they are obliged to possess and present a valid Local Resident Certificate, issued by the competent authority, during the JCECE counselling process.

JCECE Reservation 2026

The JCECE Reservation for the year 2026 will be taken into account during the JCECE Counselling process. To be eligible for reservation benefits, candidates are required to possess a valid Local Resident Certificate issued by the authority designated by the Government of Jharkhand.

JCECE Eligibility Criteria 2026: Disabled Candidates

Candidates with a minimum disability of 40% in the following categories will be eligible for seat reservation in participating institutes:

• Blindness and low vision

• Deaf and hard of hearing

• Locomotor Disability, which includes conditions like cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy

• Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness

• Multiple disabilities among individuals covered in clauses (a) to (d), including deaf-blindness.

During the counselling process, such candidates must provide the following documents:

• A full-size photograph

• A Certificate of Disability issued by a Civil Orthopedics Doctor from the District Hospital or Civil Surgeon of Jharkhand state.

The authority will announce the JCECE 2026 application form link on the official website. The application form for JCECE 2026 will be released along with the official notification. Students have to successfully submit the JCECE 2026 registration form to appear in the examination and be considered for admission.
