There may arise situations where two or more candidates may end up securing the same marks in JEE Advanced 2026. During such situations, the given policies as per the given order are followed by the authorities:
Candidates with higher JEE Advanced marks will be given a higher JEE Advanced rank 2026.
If the tie continues, the candidate with a higher score in Mathematics will be given a higher preference.
If the tie remains, the candidates who have a higher score in Physics will be allotted a higher JEE Advanced 2026 rank.
Finally, if the tie persists, then the candidates will be given the same JEE Advanced 2026 rank.
